Student Part-time QA Tester for Data Processing (all humans)

We’re the Business Intelligence Processing team – we make sure the right data are in the right place at the right time. Besides overseeing and pushing huge data processing flows forward, part of our job is to build and run user-friendly monitoring portals which is exactly where you will help.
Are you thrilled by hunting for bugs? Do you enjoy combing through a web application to see what doesn’t work as it should? Do you take extra pride in writing good ticket descriptions? Then help us bring our solution to the next level by inspecting and assuring that we’re changing it without breaking it!
What to do:
- You will work in our small but good team (3 other developers and 2 business experts), at least once per week together in the office.
- You will help us to provide the most accurate picture of the quality of our own internal portal currently running with Java, Angular and Postgres DB. We need an extra pair of hands to make our testing better!
- You can work on something important – the end-goal for our portal is usage by most of the managers (or their representatives) in every country of Erste Group, so you understand why we want to test well :-)
You check these boxes:
- Be an enrolled student with on-going program at university
- Join us at least 3 days per week, ideally 4 days per week (even for 50% allocation)
- Self-organization and proactivity
- Confidence in reading, speaking, and writing English
- Duration for one year
- Test analysis skills – analyzing requirements, defining test items, writing & executing test cases
- Good overview of web technologies, experience with browsers – network, errors
- Practical experience with SQL – writing queries, understanding DB documentation
- JIRA and Postman knowledge is a plus
- Interest in the field of banking and related regulations
